A TOOTHBRUSH

For a day of sixteen hours,

I ate two full mangoes,

Some sand & some smoke

And YOU.

YOU tasted bitter,

So I drank some of my tears.

For a night of eight hours,

I chewed some straw

And YOU.

After all had happened,

I took my toothbrush

And wiped out everything.

My mouth now fresh;

Teeth clean:

Ready for some more mangoes,

More sand & more smoke

And some more YOU.
